Builder in Ahmedabad caught in a frogery case.

Anandnagar: Builder in Anandnagar builder was arrested by the police as the builder was linked with a 70 lakh frogery case which was registered by an Isanpur resident. Case was lodged in Sabarmati central jail and the builder, Mihir Desai was arrested on Thursday. Police reports say that Mihir Yagnik had purchased a flat worth Rs 70 lakh in Desai’s new project Stavan Eltiza. According to Yagnik, he bought the flat from Desai but instead of giving the possesion of the house, Desai mortgaged it to the bank.

JD Nagarwala, Police Inspector, Sabarmati central said that a case has been registered against Desai and further investigation is going on. According to the police, this is not the first case against Desai, as in the month of March 2017; manager of India Infoline had filed a complaint against Desai which stated that Desai got an Rs 2.85 Crore loan from India Infoline after mortgaging his two offices in Pinnacle complex.

Another case was registered against him in February 2017 for destroying the boundary wall of a society while the construction of his housing project was going on.
